What strength of CBD hemp oil to choose ?
When choosing CBD oil, it's important to consider not only the percentage concentration but also how many milligrams of CBD are consumed per day. Different strengths of oil contain different amounts of CBD per drop:
5% CBD oil: ~2.5 mg of CBD
10% CBD oil: ~5 mg of CBD
15% CBD oil: ~7.5 mg of CBD
20% CBD oil: ~10 mg of CBD
30% CBD oil: ~15 mg of CBD
CBD intake needs can vary depending on individual factors, so it’s often recommended to start with a lower amount while observing how your body responds. Choosing a higher concentration oil allows you to reach your desired dosage with fewer drops.

What is CBD ?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a molecule found in the hemp plant that has been shown to be beneficial to the human body in numerous scientific studies. Discovered in 1940 and is widely studied in the scientific community to this day. CBD oil is used in cosmetics, nutritional supplements and even medicine.
Although extracted from hemp, CBD oil has no psychotropic effects. This material is legal in many countries, including Lithuania.
What is CBD oil used for ?
CBD oil has a very wide range of uses, starting from cosmetics that can help treat dry skin, acne, signs of aging, and strengthen the condition of nails and hair. CBD oil is used in many countries of the world as a food supplement and is valued for its calming properties - it can improve sleep disorders (its quality), reduce anxiety or even depression. However, it is important to note that in Lithuania cannabidiol is classified as a "novel food", therefore Hemp CBD oil must be used as indicated on the package.
Is CBD oil legal in Lithuania ?
Yes. According to the amendments to the Law on Industrial Hemp of the Republic of Lithuania (No. XII-336), the sale and use of CBD oil is permitted. However, it's important to note that these products must not contain more than 0.2% of the psychoactive substance tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). How to use CBD oil ?
We recommend using it regularly, dropping the amount of drops indicated in the product description on the chosen place, 2 times a day (morning and evening), shaking before use. Please note that we all have different desired effects and tolerance levels for different concentrations of CBD products, so we suggest starting with the lowest recommended amount and gradually increasing it if needed, but do not exceed 200 mg of CBD per day.
Keep in mind that if you are using CBD for the first time, you may not feel the effect immediately, - your endocannabinoid receptors need to adapt to phytocannabinoids (CBD), this may take up to several days.
How long does it take for CBD oil to start working?
- CBD oil: according to some users, it starts working within 15 minutes.
- CBD capsules: effects may be felt after 40–60 minutes.
- CBD patch: begins working upon contact with the skin, though some users report feeling effects after 4–8 hours.
Does CBD oil have side effects?
Many clinical studies have proven that CBD oil is safe to use, but it is no secret that everyone's body is different and although it is very unlikely, minor side effects may occur, e.g. reddening of the skin, in which case we recommend discontinuing use and consulting a family physician before continuing CBD use.
It should also be noted that the World Anti-Doping Agency has added cannabidiol (CBD) to the list of substances allowed for use by athletes.
What is Full Spectrum CBD Oil ?
This type of CBD oil features a broad composition of cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, etc.), and may also retain terpenes and flavonoids. Full-spectrum extracts are often considered one of the more effective forms due to the so-called “Entourage Effect”. It is believed that the interaction between different compounds can enhance their overall effect.
What is Broad Spectrum CBD Oil ?
Broad-spectrum CBD oil does not have a standardized composition – it may be an extract that retains several or more different compounds from the hemp plant, including cannabinoids and terpenes, but with THC removed.
In Hempo’s broad-spectrum CBD oil, a significant portion of the plant’s phytocannabinoids and terpenes is preserved, but THC is absent (undetectable according to third-party lab tests).
Are hemp oil and CBD oil the same ?
No, these are two different products. Hemp seed oil is extracted from hemp seeds and is most commonly used in cooking – it is valued for its content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
CBD oil, on the other hand, is extracted from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant and contains phytocannabinoids, such as CBD.
